JMS - Grade 5 Orientation

Gregory B. Jarvis Middle School will be holding an orientation for all incoming fifth grade students. Students new to our district who will be attending Jarvis Middle School are also welcome at this time. At Orientation, students will receive their initial schedules for their 2025-2026 school year (schedules will be subject to possible changes prior to the start of the year), listen to a presentation outlining expectations, and have the opportunity to tour the building. Students will also have time to practice their locker combinations and meet faculty and staff. 

• Fifth Grade Orientation is scheduled for Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 5:00 - 6:00 pm. 

There is parking in the rear of the building or on the streets surrounding the Jarvis building. Please do not park on both sides of Grove Street. The side directly in front of the building needs to remain open should there be a building emergency. We will have both the Grove Street entrance and our back door to the cafeteria open.
